Iirc, s5e12 had Dark Hope use Glacé solidatur. For one time, and I don't think it was ever shown where she learned this spell.

But since Lizzie knew this spell in the Gremlins episode, it at least means that it can be found at school or in Freya's grimoires.

Malivore is made out of mud and black magic from 3 supernaturals.

Beyond just personal limits of one's use of magic, what exactly was stopping Hope, Lizzie or even Josie (tho she's clearly more of a pyro) from...using ice spells to use against him and his monsters?

And if water is a requirement, Hope's water torrent spell. Or just any existing water source, like the Falls. Or even the sea.

And if they don't want to freeze the target to death, why not use Aquam Alia, or just use whatever available water source to first wet the target (like a puddle), and then just focus the ice spell around the surrounding target only?

And while ice spells may not kill or destroy Malivore, it should be able to stop most of his monsters.

And since he's still made of mud, even with black magic, Hope can still use this ice spell to stop him long enough for her to use her blood to destroy him.

I'm new to Hosie, and I just finished reading the latest updated chap from >!Such is Our Fates!<.

It was ok, but I can't really say how it wrote Hosie was to my taste sadly. But It did get me curious on whether there was a Hosie fic where Malivore dies and Triad is defeated, and Landon, Hope and Josie lives.

So now, I'm trying to find another Hosie centered (just in case, no poly, open relationship, etc) fic that's kinda a rewrite of Legacies.

And it's not just gonna be bc of Riley.

At first glance, nothing seems wrong in their relationship. Not until you start pursuing one of or both of them at least. With both rather clearly reciprocating Riley's subtle advances.

As the the story goes on, it's pretty clear that whatever spark Emma and Xavier had 5 yrs ago, has pretty much died.

By the present, while they seem to still get along decently enough, Emma seems used to treating Xavier more as her protector than as her boyfriend. And Xavier seems more than used to treating Emma as someone to protect and comfort whenever she's distressed.

In short, their relationship seems to have become one of comfort and familiarity from the role they play by being a couple, than one based off of genuine romantic love, compromise, and balance.

They don't seem to have much moral reason to break up, and that's exactly why their still together at all.

They possibly felt that it was easier being together as a couple, than it is being apart as friends in Windrose Bay.

I think it's pretty clear that whoever Riley romances, they'll be the ones to initiate the break up. If Riley don't romance either, then it's up in the air. But instead of breaking up, they'd potentially go on a break instead.

I really want to romance Emma, so I'm desperately hoping we get more of her in the upcoming update. 😭

From something endearing to comical, to even downright insulting, what are your favorite nicknames for this enticing leona?

I'll go first.

My fav nicknames for her are My Queen, The bane of Riley's existence, as well as Riley's future beloved wife.

And when I'm frustrated by Tiff, I like to call her Walmart knock-off Barbie.

So this is a post to kinda dissect and better understand about Lily's feelings for and relationship with the group.

Let's start with probably the easiest (or at least with the least info),

* Xavier. She dosen't seem to talk to him much, but it appears they got along decently.

He most likely became friends with her through Emma I think, and Lily possibly kept him around bc he was a star athlete att(at that time).

So he was potentially allowed in the group for appearances, and Lily got along with him decently enough.

* Emma, Xavier's gf. Nothing much is known about her yet, but Lily and her seemed to have got along well enough for Emma to have referred to her positively 5 yrs ago.

Emma was noted by Riley to be deceptively strong when she dragged her out of of pool, and as we see in the latest update, it's heavily implied her sweet and denure facade is something of a mask or a coping mechanism.

Lily was possibly friends with her bc she was interested enough in this aspect about Emma to include her.

*Luna, Lily's former gf, and implied to be the one she was two-timing Fabian with. The most popular take on why Lily dated her, is bc Riley had a crush on her like with Fabian.

But if it's true that she actually dated both regardless of Mc's preference, meaning mc probably only had a crush on only one instead of both, seems to leave this take with some holes in it imo.

So instead, I think Lily was genuinely attracted to Luna, as she's kinda like a female ver. of Fabian.

And more specifically, the novel experience of dating a girl (which I think is connected to her feelings for Riley), possibly bc Luna was interested in Riley (from the recent update with Riley's poem of her), and the thrill at the thought of how much it would anger her parents if they ever found out she was dating a girl that was "beneath her status".

If Lily was curious at what dating a girl was like, (and there's no light way to put this) then it's more than likely she chose Luna bc she was just the most convenient option att.

* Fabian, Lily's former bf, and whom she was two-timing Luna with. It seems Lily was attracted to and dated Fabian first before she dated Luna.

Fabian seems to be pretty much everything Lily would be naturally attracted to, musically gifted, free-spirited, rebellious, a rule breaker, and above all, someone her parents would never approve of.

Like Luna, he would not give a flying turd on if the Fairchilds ever forbade him from dating Lily, he would still see her.

Lily also may or may not have dated him bc he was also interested in Riley, but as he knew to back off bc of from Riley on the wlw route, I don't think this is likely. Same can be said for Luna.

* Declan, possible childhood friend. Besides seemingly enjoying poking fun at him, it's possible he's included in the group mainly to keep up appearances towards her family.

As well as possibly as a reluctant witness from someone "closer to her status" to back her if she goes up to her usual mischief.

And Declan most likely hangs around the group bc his mom wanted him and Tiff to make connections with Lily.

* Tiffany. Considering Lily straight up ignored her at the boutique, committed attempted aggravated assault by throwing a glass jar with no regard for her safety, Lily...really just dosen't seem to like her very much. If at all.

She seems to actively hold her in genuine disdain and contempt even. Which makes quite a bit of sense, as Tiffany is pretty much the complete opposite of Lily and what she usually likes in people (Tiff is the complete antithesis to Fabian and Luna).

Whats more, Lily seems to genuinely disprove of her family's darker side before her death, while Tiff actively follows her mother's cruel footsteps with diligence (down to her words).

Unlike with Declan, whom she at the very least seems to enjoy teasing, Lily seems to include her solely so she would have a witness "closer to her status" to back her.

Or with Declan, it could just be another way to keep her parents happy by hanging with others that "know how to behave".

* Lastly, Riley. Lily's "best friend" and in Lily's own words, her "anchor".

We know that Lily and Riley had probably been childhood best friends for a while, possibly longer than with the Romano twins, as Lily has said that she's already seen everything of Riley's body in the bathroom, possibly implying that they've bathed together before.

I'm guessing Riley usually stayed at Lily's home during holidays. And/or bc Riley was going to an academy at or closer to windrose bay, it was more convenient for her to stay over instead of coming from her grandma's out of town.

Lily seemed to have been the closest to Riley, enough to defend her from Mrs Romano, ask her old-fashioned obsessed Mom for a lock for the bathroom, and searched for Riley's hand to hold for comfort and reassurance.

Inspite of Lily genuinely seeming to care for Riley, so far she didn't seem to show much consideration for her feelings. Namely dating her crush/es.

Tho tbf, despite Riley's interest in either/both, she never seemed to have actually mustered the courage to asking either of them out. So Lily likely thought it was fair game, and dated Luna bc she wanted to experience dating a girl, and dated Fabian possibly bc she thought she was interested in him first before Riley.

But what if Riley found out? Wasn't she scared that Riley would hate and stop being friends her?

Well, it's a bit hard to say atm, but I believe that Lily was confident that Riley would never find out, as in the latest update we know she had no qualms making out with a random blonde guy before she went back to Riley (depending on the timeline on when she started her relationship Fabian, she may have already cheated on him before moving to Luna), and/or never actually thought that Riley would really leave her.

Another take I've seen is Lily being jealous of Riley, bc Vivienne favored her and often compared her to Riley.

I find this interesting, as this opens the door to Lily dating Riley's crushes behind her back potentially partially out of revenge as well.

Lastly, in the latest update, we see Lily painting Riley as her birthday gift. No one in the whole estate, just her, Riley, wax candles, and her art supplies. We also know from Riley's comment that Lily had always wanted to paint her since the day they met.

All of these, combined with how furious Lily was when she found out Tiff and Amelia's coven were just right outside her window, disturbing Lily's focus, and leading her to mess up her painting of Riley, point to Lily seemingly having an unusual fixation on Riley.

This is pretty significant, as Lily has been shown to be very reckless and free-spirited, bouncing from one thrill on to another. Making out with a random guy (may or may not while she was still dating Fabian at that time), partying, drinking, etc.

But Riley has seemingly remained her most constant relationship, seemingly even more so than even her own family. Which could explain why Lily seems to have such a unusual fixation on her.

So far, we have no info on how they first met, so I hope that we will find out more about it down the line.

Let me know some of your thoughts on this.

Are there like LI where you have to choose a negative relationship choice with them now, in order to gain more of an upstat in the next choice with them?

Like you can choose an upstat dialogue option with them now, but it won't have as much of an increase with them when you choose the next upstat dialogue choice with them.

Been playing for a while, but I never really bothered to look at the relationship stats before.

Also, another question, I've been playing WL lately on the bi/wlw route, and in my profile, it basically showed every character I took a romance option with except Tiffany for some reason.

And my stats with her are higher than Luna or Emma, but they appear, while Tiff doesn't.

And if it has, are there any pics?

Declan, Xavier, and Emma on the left (the ones that have not been shown any romantic interest in Lily), and Tiffany, Fabian, and Luna (the ones who were shown to have had a romantic interest in, or at least a crush for Tiff's case, on Lily) are on the right.

Meanwhile, smack dabbed in the middle, we have Riley. Right between the Romano twins.

What could this mean? 🤔

Well, I think this could mean as how Lily viewed her relationships with the group cast, and how she usually separated them.

Those that she would have an easier time to manipulate and wouldn't be aware of it, and those she knows won't be as simple, and/or make it troublesome for her and would likely be made aware of it pretty quick. Leading her to be less interested in the latter.

I don't really think this necessarily meant she prefered the company of the ones easier to manipulate on the right tho (tho I do think this did play a part in her relationships with Fab/Lu), bc if that were the case, we'd have seen at least one look was shot at Tiffany's 5 yrs ago at the boutique when Tiff was there with her mom.

Not to mention, Lily just dosen't seem to have all that much to be interested in in Tiffany at all beyond just Tiff seeming easier to manipulate.

And we know she's attracted to things she finds as rebellious, and would piss her mom off, or anything that gives her a sense of novelty,

Now, we're back to Riley. Her positioning is interesting, as it could mean that some days she found Riley easy to manipulate, and some days she dosen't.

Or, it could indicate that Riley sometimes knew when she was being manipulated by Lily, but usually just chose to go with it bc Lily was her best friend, and knows how strained her home life was, and she dosen't want to add any more troubles to her.

But Riley sometimes didn't know she was being manipulated by Lily, like Lily's relationship with her crushes Fab/Luna being hidden from her, and the boat belonging to the sheriff's.

All of which Lily knew. Lily saw it easy to manipulate Riley like the ones on the right, but also probably understood that even if Riley did know, she would most likely still follow her anyways without much resistance like the ones on the left. Riley's inner thoughts from 5yrs ago supports this even, stating herself that all she needed to care about at that time was following Lily.

That, and they lived together for a period of time 5 yrs ago. She only sees everyone in the group once in a while, but it's implied they literally shared a bath together before.

Honestly, typing out Lily's relationship with Riley reminds me so much of Jennifer's relationship with Needy. 🤣😭

I find it interesting how 4/6 of them seem to be what romancing them would be like from their POV, while Tiff and Xavier seem to be what romancing them will be like from Riley's pov.
