Hi all, my parents are nri's working in the gulf so in 2018 or 2019 they had taken up a housing loan from Canara bank and due to Covid my dad has job issue's and couldn't pay every month but then he used to pay an amount throughout and then they suddenly changed emi from 28,000 to 43,500 and told us it's because we dint pay our emi on time.
Now the situation even worse for us financially where my dad only earns and it's very less where we can only survive, I'm actively looking for work but job market is dull.
So my question - is there anyway I can restructure my loan back to 28,000 because the salary certificate given before was when my dad had a better pay and now even if we tell the bank manager our problem's she's not ready to do anything.. we only have money to pay the emi nothing else.
