There’s a class action settlement open for Differin BPO products, up to $27, no proof needed

Quick heads up for anyone who’s used Differin benzoyl peroxide products. There’s an active class action settlement alleging the products contained trace amounts of benzene, a known carcinogen.

Up to $27 per household (3 products × $9), no receipts required, open to all U.S. residents. Deadline is May 19, 2026 — coming up fast.

Claim form is at differinbpoproductsettlement.com, or you can find it on the ClassAct app. Takes 2 minutes.

PSA: Apple settled a $500M lawsuit over intentionally slowing down your iPhone — you may be owed ~$65

If you owned an iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus, 7, 7 Plus, or SE running iOS 10.2.1 or later (or iOS 11.2 or later for the 7/7 Plus), you’re likely eligible for a cash payment from Apple’s Batterygate settlement.

Apple admitted to throttling processor speeds on older devices to manage degraded batteries without telling users. The settlement is $500M total. Individual payments landed around $65 per device, no proof of purchase required.

The claim window has passed for the original filing, but there are newer related actions still open depending on your state. Worth checking if you haven’t already. I found mine through ClassAct (on the iOS App Store) which aggregates open settlements and tells you what you qualify for.
