Highest L35 Fixed Salary?

Hey guys!

I’ve seen people mention L35 offers ranging anywhere from ₹16L to ₹40 fixed (Yes 40!)

That’s a ridiculously wide range 😅

For those who’ve come across L35 lateral offers recently, what’s the highest fixed compensation you’ve heard being offered for an L35 lateral?

Curious to know what the upper end of the range actually looks like.

In person pre-hire connect?

Hi everyone,
I have an in-person pre-hire connect with my team and the Managing Director this Friday before I officially join in September.

I’m trying to make the most of the opportunity. Apart from getting clarity on my role and day-to-day responsibilities, what are some important questions you would recommend asking?

For those who’ve been through similar pre-hire meetings:

What should I expect from the interaction?
Are there any topics you wish you had asked about before joining?
Any red flags or green flags to look out for?
Any advice for making a good first impression?

Any suggestions or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Market correction next year?

Hey!

How are the cycles for market correction? Considering everyone got lesser hikes, is there a chance of higher hikes next year?

Anyone who has been in Deloitte for longer tenure can confirm!

Resigned immediately after signing the offer letter?

Hey everyone!
I’ll be joining Deloitte in September. Since I had a 90-day notice period, the offer letter already mentioned my joining date based on that, so I resigned from my current company the same day I received the offer and informed HR.

Since then, my background verification has been in progress. It’s been over a month now, and the status still shows “Awaiting BGV Results.” I haven’t received any updates, and I haven’t been able to reach HR over calls.

I’m mainly looking for some reassurance from anyone who’s been through a similar experience. Is this kind of timeline normal, or should I be concerned?

Thanks in advance!
