New to Under-grad IITM - BS in management and data science

I am a 25 year old CA Final and CFA L1 student. I have registered for the Qualifier exam for BS in management and data science program of IITM. I haven't received any formal communication from IITM regarding the registration. I only got a mail from razorpay for payment of fee. Is this how it is supposed to be

And I have some doubts regarding this qualifier exam

Since it's been 8 years since i completed my schooling most of the concepts I don't even remember anything

Will the lecture provided by IITM be enough for me to recall the same and clear qualifiers?

How many hours should I allot daily from June 12 to July 19 for the preparation of the qualifier?

Will the classes be in any app or in the website only?

Anything else should i know, I'm fairly new to the undergrad setup itself.

Managing PMOS and digestive issues

I m 25F, studing CA Final and is confirmed with PMOS(formerly PCOS) and higher prolactin levels in 2024 I haven't done much about other than occasional workouts. In 2025 I got diagnosed for H.pylori infection and is confirmed with erosive gastritis and acidity and fatty Liver.

Now, that with all of this, i want to take my health seriously. And I have gained around 20 in a span of 2 to 3 years. My gynac have now put me on metformin. While I still have active gastritis I am afraid of these drugs causing flares, i need to reduce weight badly as my gastroenterologist said my weight gain is also affecting my gastritis.

Both my gynac and gastro doc said that all these started due to stress. I don't even know how not to get stressed.

How you people managing with multiple things. Should I be worried about one drug causing other problem.

Any other tips for beginners trying to recover would help too. How are you guys managing life with the need to focus on multiple health issues, finances and career

New for CFA,Please guide me

I am currently pursuing CA FINAL. I am planning to start my CFA level 1 using the 2024 Schweser notes of my friend to attempt Feb 2027 exam. Is it okay and enough to use it? Or should I go for a new book and extra materials.

I am planning to start self study(with free lecture from YouTube)from June to sept 2026 for 1 to 2 hours a day and again continue my prep in mid November till exams. Is this sufficient or do I need to opt for any classes.

How many mocks should I plan , is the institute mock enough

Also please suggest some free resources

Any other tips for newbie would help

Thanks in advance!

How y'all manage life with this

I m currently in prep of my exams. I couldn't lead a normal life with this focussing on my career. Is it the same for everyone. I got tested positive for h.pylori and took antibiotics for same and is also confirmed with erosive gastritis and acidity

If not, Please do share some tips..

1.I wake up every morning normally without any discomfort mostly. But after my breakfast the pain starts... sometimes it doesn't subside at all and sometimes it does with me taking buttermilk or antacid. Because of this even couldn't show for some exam due to pain.

2.I m not in any sort of strict diet yet.. with the prep of exam sometimes I can't cook food and happen to take out in the evening. And I do notice a pattern that my morning pain in diretly proportional to the sweet/spice/tanginess of the food I had in earlier evening...

  1. I am generally an emotional person.. but this pain gets triggered even with my emotions like if I'm really anxious or angry.

  2. I cannot sleep at night due to burping issues with most takeouts

  3. Finally the smell of some spicy foods trigger. I live in area where eating spicy food is normality.

I don't even know what are all the other possible triggers could be

PS: I mostly avoid spicy food even in takeouts, also I didn't try eating blant too

Any good tips would help🥹
