Your vote tomorrow will have the most influence out of any other election.

The Primary Election tomorrow will consist of only Kentucky voters, and then only voters of your party and district (for nonpartisan positions). The amount of total voters is so small compared to other elections that your single vote could actually swing the outcome of many of the races.

So if you actually want to be heard in loudest way possible, go vote tomorrow.

You can view a sample ballot here to learn who the candidates are: https://www.lexingtonky.gov/living/county-state-services/voting-information

All of the candidates for US Senate and House have their own websites that you can lookup to learn more about them and for all the other local races you can find information about the candidates here: https://lex.vote

I currently have an:

Intel 10850k

32 gb of RAM

Nvidia 3080 10gb

27 inch 1440p 155hz TN monitor.

I’m debating on whether to upgrade to an LG 27 inch 1440p 240hz OLED HDR monitor or a 5070ti. They are similar in price and I’m wondering which will make the most difference.

I have a 4k OLED HDR TV that I’ve played controller friendly games on through Sunshine and they look really good with the true blacks and HDR and want that sort of thing on my desk for mouse and keyboard games.

But the 10 gb of VRAM on the 3080 is starting to show its age unfortunately with some of the insane VRAM requirements of recent games so the 16 gb on the 5080ti is looking enticing.

I play mostly singleplayer story games like Death Stranding 2, RE: Requiem, and Stalker 2. As well as some multiplayer games like Arma 3 and Reforger (Which I hear can benefit from really good CPUs but I am kind of blind in that area).
