My sister has a nearly 4 year old child that has some very troubling behaviours. He is very cruel and consistently, and constantly, hits his dog and our Mother's dog. He has been bitten many many times. He beats into my sister frequently and has a terrible, uncontrollable temper. I have children of my own and have never seen behaviour like it. He has seen a therapist but it hasn't helped at all. He often lies and says things are accidents when one of us has witnessed what he has (very deliberatly) done. He also can not handle when my sister gives anyone but him attention and runs around screaming, hitting her, hitting the animals ect When I am around him I feel completely exhausted and often very angry afterwards. I have done some research and he shows all the signs for ODD, although it isnt typically diagnosed in small children if they can help it. He also has no respect for anyone's house, belongings or anyone in general. It is extremely hard to deal with, especially the constant bullying toward the animals! I fear he will be attacked one day and I feel awful for the dogs. I feel like his behaviour will eventually cause a rift in the family. My sister knows how naughty he is/can be and sometimes will even vent but others justify his awful behaviour.
