Freshmen Steps to Investment Banking
Hey guys,
I'm currently a Freshmen at FSU and i'm studying Finance. Before attending FSU, I had the opportunity to get my AA from Miami Dade College even before graduating high school. Don't worry though, I'm still considered a freshmen because I applied as freshmen instead of a transfer.
At my school, i've been able to join my finance society and began learning more about the industry through there. There was also an internship opportunity that i did. I managed to make it to the last round of interviews and sadly, I didn't get selected as an intern. I do have another one scheduled but it's with a firm that has controversial reviews.
I'm trying my best to build up my resume and learn how to really work in the industry. I've been looking into searchfunds and probably going to aim for that.
I can't really apply for normal internships because they simply all hire sophomores and juniors.
What is something I can do to make myself closer to having an internship this summer and build my career for Investment banking?
