Advice on first year dental school

Hi I’m starting 1st year of dental school next month and I’m skeptical that the workload or pace of university may be a bit difficult to cope with because of how different it can be to a levels and 6th form.Does anyone have any advice on 1st year of dental school/ being sort of worried you won’t be able to catch up with the work?

Also I know every universities course structure is slightly different but if anyone had any advice for incoming 1st years or wanted to share what their course structure was like that would be super helpful.

Offer received from waiting list but issues with UCAS

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help because I'm really confused about what to do.
I applied for Dentistry this year and had 4 dentistry choices. My other choices were rejected, and one of my choices showed as unsuccessful on UCAS, but I was later put on the university's waiting list.
Yesterday, I received a phone call from the university offering me a place from the waiting list. They told me to go onto UCAS and use the "University or College Offered Place" option to add the offer.
However, when I try to do this, UCAS won't let me continue because it says I already have 4 dentistry choices. I called UCAS and the adviser tried to help, but it still didn't work. They explained that because the original choice is showing as "unsuccessful" on my UCAS application, the university may need to process the offer another way (possibly through another UCAS route).
The issue is that the university admissions team is closed until Monday, and their email says this needs to be completed by 30 June. I'm worried because I have been given an offer, but I can't complete the UCAS process.
Has anyone experienced this before? Do you know what normally happens in this Situation? Should I just wait for the university to reopen, or is there anything else I can do in the meantime?
