Help with family trip appreciated
Hello everyone! We have booked our return flights to Seoul for mid August, staying till end of August. As a family (2 boys) we don't have any other option than the school holidays and we have been to Japan in the heat so we don't mind it.
Half of our family was in Seoul already in November, so we like to visit other places too this time.
My plan is the following for now:
Arrive in Seoul, stay for 5 nights (booked an Airbnb in Gangnam, changing this is possible) actually would love a hotel or stay with pool as we loved to have a dip in the afternoon in Japan. Can't find many options though which have outdoor pools or even where the pool is included in the stay?
Travel to Gyeongju and stay for 2 nights. Question here is it better to stay around the lake and the theme park or close to the city and the Sightseeing? Or is it so close that travelling around is easy?
Travel to Busan and stay for 4 nights. I have a booked an accomodation next to Songdo beach, is this convenient?
We initally planned to take a flight or the ferry to Jeju but now decided probably against it, so to have a more relaxed itinerary and less stress travelling. What do you guys think?
Now we have a few more days to spend and I would like to go somewhere before returning to Seoul.
Our last night we will spend in Incheon at Paradise City Resort as we have quite an early flight.
Further question: would you take the train to all of these places or shall we rent a car (which seems to be cheap and more cost effective given that we are a group of 4, maybe also more flexibility to roam around?)
All your inputs and thoughts are welcome and appreciated!
