I feel behind

Had a terrible couple of months health wise and now I feel behind because my mentor feels I’m behind. Can I just not care. I kinda don’t like the check-ins stress me out because I’m just trying to get better right now and make up the time later. That was the whole point for me going to WGU was if I had health things I could slow down and speed up when I feeling better. Feeling behind or being told that is demotivating me.

If you graduated with a Cyber Ops degree

If you weren’t already working in Cyber how is job hunting going? Was the program worth it? Are there any regrets?

Novel studies guides kill a child’s love of reading. Let kids enjoy books and maybe expand in other ways with project, but reading a novel to then fill out vocabulary and comprehension questions makes reading a chore not enjoyable. Comprehension is important and can be learned outside of novels so they can enjoy novels.

Literally just a soap box because my kids district that purchases our curriculum tried to push me to use funds of novel study guides. I saw with my kid how much more he enjoyed books when we moved comprehension to a workbook and just let him read for pleasure.

Edit to clarify I’m talking about things like Novel Ties, or Memoria Press literature guides. I’m not saying never discuss the story.

The Neo is the best thing and I officially remember who I stopped buying windows computers at one point. Now I never want to use one again… again. Has anyone found they need a higher powered computer for day to day things? I’m considering a Mac Pro to run VMs instead of my Windows computer.

What are your go to CompTIA resources that are not the three on Udemy or Professor Messer. I struggle with not falling asleep listening to them or zoning out. I have Net+ coming up this term and I want to be prepared.

Do any of your children have SPD? How do you deal with it during the day? What tools do you use to help them focus if they are sensory seeking. I’m struggling today.
