Have i been living under a rock? why did not know that math thresholds are fucking insaaaaaaane??

I had 116/125 in AS

now s1/p52 is going to be assessed

I have a decent number of days to prepare for p32

i would aim for 70 but lets say 65 realistically

so however do assessed grades work? would i get an A* overall with 65😭

9702/52 answer discussion

i could fully be wrong because my paper didnt go all that well

gradient=4pi^2 (aD)/Mg

all my uncertainties for T were 0.02 and for T^2 they were like 0.06,0.04, 0.03 stuff like that

gradient was 0.188+_ 0.009 s^2m^2

d was 0.825 i think? i dont remember exactly but unc was +_ 0.004

a was like 5.48 with around 7.52% uncertainty (i used g not kg)

L was like 0.197 +_ 0.007 maybe

okay so my q1 SUCKED but im still gonna share it cos idk hope i at least get more than half the marks

defining the problem:

Independent variable: distance h between metal plates

dependent variable: mean current I across resistor

control variables: Emf (E), frequency of Ac supply, something else that i cant remember

data collection:
use a travelling microscope to measure the distance h (did not use micrometer because there is nothing to hold, its just a gap)

connect oscilloscope across resistor and use it to calculate mean current

connect oscilloscope across AC generator as well to obtain frequency (f)

use a vernier caliper to measure diameter of plate and use A=pi (d)^2\4 to calculate area

Method of data analysis

use at least 6 different capacitors to obtain 6 sets if values of I and h

plot a graph for I (y axis) against 1/h (x axis), if the given relationship is valid a straight line through the origin should be obtained

gradient was i think equal to kAfE maybe so k is equal to (gradient)/AfE

also connect a voltmeter in paralel to the Dc supply to measure emf

safety precautions

wear insulation gloves

Keep circuit away from water

allow circuit to cool down before connect capacitor

maybe wrote some other random ass stuff too

I KNOW ITS ALL OVER THE PLACE BUT DO YALL THINK THERES ANYYYY WAY I CAN GET 10/15

9709 P3 replacement (pakistan)

is there any chance that the replacement exam is conducted before june? because now im left with 3-4 days off and im not sure if should study reeeally well for my next exam (chem p5 and phy p5) or still practice p3 as well? If the exam is held at some point in june, i'll have plenty of time to prepare because my last exam is on the 20th of may, but what if they decide to conduct it sooner? is that a possibility?

9700/p52

someone pls tell me how my p5 went:

for the investigation i basically wrote that you prepare mesocarp samples from avocados that were allowed to ripe for 0,2,4,6,8 and 10 days. you cut the mesocarp using a scalpel💀 you add 50cm3 of hydrogen peroxide solution to a flask that is connected to a gas syringe and is sealed with an air tight bung. Then you add the mesocarp and immediately close the bung and record the volume of gas collected in the first 2 minutes. Then divide the volume by 120 to obtain rate of activity. Repeat for each mesocarp sample and make 3 replicates for each sample to calculate a mean value for the volume of oxygen collected. Keep the concentration and volume of H2O2 constant, keep temperature constant by using a thermostatically controlled water bath, and obtain all avocados from the same tree immediately after harvesting. You can plot a graph for rate if catalase activity (y axis) against age of avocado after harvesting.

i wrote the IV was age of avocado after harvesting.

line both axis of the field using measuring tape and use a random number generator to select coordinates of trees in the field.

use a nature guide to compare and identify butterflies using their morphological features.

limitations were that they are mobile and may move away during the investigation, they may be difficult to spot in dense vegetation, data may be biased as many people are collecting it and may only include species that were easy to identify, also wrote something else but now i forgot.

percentage change was 487

SE were 412 and 358 i think

i didnt really understand the trend in the 4 marker so i wrote all the highest and lowest activities, pointed out unreliability due to significant overlapping, and wrote as much bs that i could think of.

for standardisiing i wrote age of people collecting data😭 and height above ground at which butterflies will be identified as well as length of transect

i think i made the error bars right but who knows

hazard was h2o2 which was a skin irritant/corrosive so wear gloves and goggles when handling

t test wasnt suitable cos more than 2 sets of data and data not normally distributed and because of large SE and overlapping, mean may not be true mean 💀💀

for the humidity thing im sure in wrong but i wrote some shit like absorbance of water so that avocado can ripe

to the people who l*** exams

i hope all of you rot in hell, and see the disappointment in your parent’s eyes when they realize that the only reason you pass or get good grades is by cheating, wasting 100s of dollars on TOP of the shit your parents have already spent on your asses - which you clearly did not deserve. you will never ever be able to make anyone in your life proud because you are both physically and MENTALLY incapable of achieving anything. i also want you to know that you will never EVER be anything more than a failure in life and you will never earn anything on your own without either cheating or it being handed to you - whether that be success or respect. How does it feel to be this pathetic and desperate for a grade that you know damn well you didn’t care for the entire year?

Yall i do not remember the questions i just wrote down some answers on my hand lmfao match it if you can

4.5 acceleration i believe

25 degree angle?

5.97 ^10 raised to power SOMETHING for mass of earth

after that ive lost the plot i just got some random jumbled up answers that i would rlly like to be right

6.25*10^7

4.9*10 raise to power somethibg

8.4*10^-3

5.14*10^13

someone pls either agree or disagree w me (gently) percentage mass was like 18.4, idr the value but for Ksp you had to halve the OH- conc to calculate the conc for Mg2+ and obv square the conc for OH-. All reactants were first order? and K was like 1.25 maybe. other than that for basicity, i think it was Q most basic (the one with Ch2 directly attached to N) and P least basic). and thennn Ecell was like 0.0223. other than that Pb2+ was most stable and Cu2+ least stable
