I think it is written in some variant of Chinese but I’m not confident, I don’t need a word for word translation of all the characters just like the general idea of what’s written here? Thanks!

I have been looking into historical calendars and holy days to try to bring some sort of cyclical structure into my practice, and I was wondering if anyone here has really gone for it with the Athenian holy days and what their experience was if so??
I have always loved the moon so I think really being aware of the ebb and flow of time relative to the phases of the moon is up my alley but as for the sheer number of holy days it looks like it could be pretty overwhelming (or just generally out of my comfort zone as some of the gods are ones I am not very familiar with yet personally or researcherally- I’m not saying that’s necessarily a bad thing tho!)
Obviously you don’t have to go all or nothing (and I think I will start with just a few) but I’m super curious if anyone did do all of them and loved it?? Or if anyone has personal modernized versions/UPGish traditions for any of the holy days they would be willing to share?

I’m still pretty new to Hellenic polytheism (and honestly mostly just threw myself if making offerings before doing much reading) and now I’m looking to do some more general research (rather than god/goddess specific) and it looks like two of the main recommendations for academic overview are “On Greek Religion” and “Greek Religion”. However OGR has almost no book reviews I could find and regardless I think the book review perspective of a practicing polytheist could be very different so I wanted to come on here and ask if anyone has read both (or either) and which they would recommend or even just what might be said to be the strengths or weaknesses of each?
Also I wanted to present the idea of perhaps adding a new tag/section to this page to act as like a book review section where people could post a book and then anyone who has read it could leave their reviews? That way when deciding what books to buy there would be a section to go through instead of just trying to search through all the book recommendation lists for more in depth info each time? I know technically there are many book review websites that exist and I could just use one of those, but as I said I feel like a review from a practicing Hellenic polytheist would consider different things important or noteworthy and would be a helpful perspective..

Hello all! I’ve had really long hair since Covid and often use it to kinda keep my mask straps on (aura) by like putting it under a half-up ponytail situation, however I have really been wanting to cut my hair recently like super super short bob and I’m just worried about my mask staying on/that I won’t like how my hair looks if it does the three bump situation or that I won’t have many options for styling my hair in multiple ways.. would anyone with short hair be willing to post pics of hairstyles they have been able to do with an aura style mask ? Or any input if they feel like the straps move around a lot? This feels like a very silly thing to worry about 😅 Thanks for any input!!
