Made a huge improvement today!!

Hello!! I just joined this community because I wanted to share this huge goal I reached with people who would understand it! One of my main safe foods is those little strawberry yogurts in the containers, with some granola added to it. I’ve only ever been able to eat it in the container, but today I was able to eat it in a metal bowl for the first time!! Not sure if that counts as a big accomplishment but it felt like one to me!

AITAH for ordering my food instead of eating what my parents made?

Hello, I’m feeling conflicted about an issue and I just need some validation. For context, I live with my parents (I am still a minor, I won’t be sharing my exact age but I am of driving age) and I have been diagnosed with ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder). This means I cannot eat certain foods without getting sick, and have very little motivation to eat at all. I have a lot of safe foods that I can make at home, but my parents have stopped buying these recently or tried to make me eat what they cook because I’m “just a picky eater”.

Earlier tonight, my dad told me dinner was ready so I came out, and they had made porkloin and some veggie sides. Porkloin is one of the main things I can’t eat due to it’s texture, and he knows that, so I kindly told him “I won’t be able to eat the pork loin but I can eat some beans and a roll.” This is what I did. Afterwards I was still hungry, so I doordashed chicken nuggets from McDonalds (I would have driven to the restaurant to get them, but I’m recovering from a knee surgery and still unable to drive by myself). I picked up the food from the porch when it arrived and my dad seemed very annoyed. Ever since then he’s been walking around the house muttering about how ungrateful I am and told my brother very loudly how glad he is that he has at least one “normal” child. He then told me I shouldn’t have done that because I used “his money”. (I get paid a weekly allowance of $5 or more depending on how much I do around the house). This has kind of made me feel horrible, so I’m wondering, AITAH?

EDIT: Because so many people are bringing it up, I have been diagnosed by two general doctors (I don’t know the proper term, apologies) and have been referred to multiple specialists to get an ”official” diagnosis, but my parents refuse to pursue it.
