Why the suggestions of illegal tints? Is it worth it?

I keep seeing people saying tint the windshield. That's $110 ticket in Ontario and over 30% on the front windows is the same. Plus an order to remove. Does it increase mileage that much? Is it just for aesthetics? If you do get pulled over $330 plus time to remove and prove it at the station.

Property dispute - Neighbour is putting his junk on my property in retaliation to easement.

Ok so I know it's a civil matter but this is how it goes. Detach home with 140cm to the property line on the North side and 70cm on the South side. According to the original drawings there's an easement of 60cm on the South side neighbours as part of their 140cm.

The South side of the house has my utility meters and my air conditioner installed by the builder 17 years ago. The air conditioner sits at 80cm so 10cm into the 60cm easement.

My neighbour passive aggressively has been leaving things against my house. Old mattress, broken chairs old recycling bin filled with garbage.

I spoke to him about moving it and he said move your air conditioner and then I'll move all the stuff.

Am I wrong that the easement allows my air conditioner to be there? If I need to move my AC then I'll eat that because that's only fair.

I would have appreciated rather than a retaliation a dialog and I would have my AC moved the 10cm.

Anyone know anything about this?

UPDATE: thanks for all the advice. City said it's a civil dispute. I moved all his crap onto his property. I called an HVAC company guy helped me move the AC I am now .5cm on to the easement.

Friends neighbour keeps triggering their garage camera by crossing over the driveway from 1-5am anything they can do

So my friend lives in Brampton and I'm trying to suggest ways to stop his neighbour from trespassing over his driveway. The neighbour is a tenant and he has spoken to the landlord and the tenant but they keep doing it anyway because it's more convenient.

Is there a cheap solution to stop this from happening? I asked if he could get those 1 foot Dollarama fences that would go in the grass but is there a liability if someone trips over them?

Annoying bank manager

My son really wants to find the 2017 glow in the dark toonie so I went to the bank and got 10 rolls of toonies. We went through all of them and no luck with the 2017 one but got a few others but not many surprisingly. When I went back to the bank I asked if I could just exchange them and then the teller told me that one of the managers actually goes through and pulls out any special ones for her own collection.

So I have to go to a different location if I want any luck.

How common is it for a company to fire someone before their commission is due?

Just curious how many of you had this happen. I worked at a company doing B2B. Was given a ridiculous quota of $4M/yr when the average BDM would do $400k/yr. I did $16M in the year. Our commission was paid out annually on job completion and I was fired 5 days before I was to get paid out. My contract screwed me and 2 lawyers said to just move on.

Anyone else get screwed on commissions by a company with no long term vision?
