How they do this Night/Day transition?

Sorry for my english.

I found this Reel on Facebook:

I know the basic, so I have to fly my drone through waypoint to get the exactly same flying Path on day and night shot and after that I need tu superpose the two videos...

But If want to do something similar where only some buildings light up etc. Like on the reel, how I do that?

I bought the Lumix 70-200mm f/2.8 lens last week (Yes I am now broke) and today I tried it out for the first time. I was blown away by the quality, I was 100 meters from the animals, and even then, the detail are still very good.

The Camera I use is the Lumix S5ii

(In the background, there's a strange circle. I tried the object removal tool in DaVinci Resolve to see how it worked, and it didn't give great results.)
