Need expert advice - Pro Players (about build orders)

If I want to try new civs especially the difficult ones (ex: Delhi) , do I really have to watch tutorials regarding the build orders or I can figure it out myself through playing several games ?.

Also, even If I paly with the same Civ, do I have to use the same build orders or it depends on the situation, I mean do I have to learn certain build orders for each Civ that I'm playing against ?

Thanks !

My Final Verdict About AOE4

I changed my review several times because I was unsure whether the issue was my lack of skill or a fault with the game.

Having played different modes, I can now say that:

+ AoE4 draws inspiration from history in an acceptable way (I will talk about the flaws in this area later).

+ Since I'm not just here for the gaming, the AOE4 campaigns are really good if you want to learn about history (although you should read more on Wikipedia).

+Some games are epic and require fast decision-making, which means more strategy and reflexion.

+The Civs/variants are interesting.

+ The music theme is well made and inspiring.

+You learn by playing and accepting to lose.

However:

- The Arabic Muslim civs/var (Ayyubids and Abbassids) are not historically accurate compared to KT. For cultural and religious reasons, I want to play these civilisations, but they are weird because they focus mostly on camels, which is not as much fun as KT, which has a lot of unit variety and different play styles.

- The rush is not at all fair for civs/variants that are weak in the Dark and Feudal Ages. For example, the Ottomans will really struggle to defend against a Japanese samurai rush, especially in 1v1 and 2v2. This means that team games (3v3 or 4v4) will be more "balanced", and 1v1 is just for pro players. Even plat players struggle with the rush, after waiting a long time for a game, it finishes in just a few minutes because of the rush and the differences between the civs. At least, if you give some civs the possibility of having good units in the early game, give the other civs more resources. Outposts are expensive to build in the early game. Also, playing defensively in this game is a bit stressful.

- Why is there no Muslim civilisation that focuses more on infantry?

- Hackers and leavers (especially in team ranked) should be banned more often to protect the good community.

I hope the developers will take feedback more seriously and add more civs and variants related to the Vikings and the Spanish. Keep up the good work.

Thank you :)
