Anyone run into sync jitter on BA-5 chassis Sony sets?

I have a new (to me) Sony KV-13FM13 which I modded for RGB via a mux mod/kit from Sunthar. The picture on this set is really, really good and I'm happy with the mod but I am going crazy trying to play on this thing with the pixels dancing back and forth.

My issue looks essentially exactly like this:

I am 90% sure this is sync jitter as it seems to affect each "pixel" shown by it oscillating horizontally back and forth very slightly. It is somewhat subtle, but I can notice it at normal viewing distance. It is also apparent in composite, but it is less noticeable simply because the signal quality is lower.

I see this sort of thing mentioned a lot with people who have flat-screen Sony sets, but usually those with a BA-6 chassis, not so much for BA-5 chassis units. I am wondering if anyone has encountered this on a BA-5 chassis and if it correctable? My next step was to isolate the sync from the RGB mod by cutting off the signal coming in from the RF and composite ports.

What is the best current-day frontend to use with Satiator?

Making a lot of Satiator posts but just trying to get to know the hardware a little better. I am currently using rings which I like because of it's game-to-game saving to the SD card as well as an intuitive frontend that allows for box art.

I heard from someone else on here that rings is deprecated. Is that right? Wondering what all you other Satiator users are using as your frontend. I know that Satiator Menu Kai is another alternative. In all honesty I am not sure of the differences between all of them and the pros/cons/whys of choosing one over the other.

Is it possible to return to the menu in the Satiator Rings menu without fully power cycling the console?

It's kind of annoying to have to power cycle the console every time I want to play a different game. I have heard you can reset to the menu if you have an Action Replay, but I'm not sure if that's the case anymore?

Any load time differences between Fenrir and Satiator?

I have a model 1 JP Sega Saturn that I have a Satiator installed in with an OEM 4MB cart. That seems to cover most of my ground and for the most part I am happy.

I am finding the process of booting the console, waiting for the splash screen, bypassing the OG Saturn menu, then getting into the Satiator menu and booting a game, waiting for that to load and get through all the menus...you get the idea. It's all just a touch long for me. I have also had a couple times where I've had to reseat the Satiator because my Saturn would randomly stop booting into it. Ideally I'd like to be able to boot the console and get into a game as fast as possible, without sacrificing reliability and authenticity.

I am considering switching to a Fenrir with the hopes that it will be a bit more consistent and faster. I think I am a little spoiled because lately I've been playing my Mega Drive and SNES with flashcarts and those are essentially instant.

I see no Krikzz markings and don't see any other markings indicating it as such. It does seem to have some of the proper chips and the quality looks ok?

Got this for $20 recently. Pretty solid set except the front buttons are wonky. The composite picture is not the best (my 13TR24 has it beat) but I am hoping to RGB mod it in the future. The flyback is a touch louder than my other sets. However, I will say the geometry and covergence are not bad at all and the colors are VERY good. Overall I am very pleased with this little set.
