Had a check engine light for EVAP system and replaced gas cap. Woke up and started the car to this. I can’t clear the code any tips?

getting a Nissan from a pretty old person who drove the car very lightly, the car currently sits at 127,000 miles. Don’t know if it has had any CVT fluid changes throughout ownership, should I be concerned?
