Now the real test is on!

Off in a few days to spend a month around Spain. This will be the first time since AIXA Travel Wallet was listed on the Google play store that we'll be able to really give it a hard test run. We'll be using planes, trains, buses, plus hotel, Airbnb and one private accommodation. Some pre-paid and others due at different times. Hopefully we will use every benefit of the app in every different way so if there's a real, working problem it should show up. Thanks ahead of time to everyone who helped out in testing so far. DM if you want updates!

A very long story for sure

This story starts in 1972 and my first voyage - leave Canada and travel Europe, Africa and Asia for 2 years. We didn't have any guidance other than an old Arthur Frommers Europe on $5 a day book. Fast forward all these years, still travelling at least 6 months a year and still with a (better!) backpack. What did I learn besides find a wife who loves the travel as much as me? No matter how much we hate to plan as the world has changed, planning became important. As technology evolved we started to use apps - First it was only spotty email, then Tripit for the itinerary, notes for the lists, spreadsheets to keep it all straight, Google maps or Organic maps, until everything was all over the place. And if course no matter how hard we tried to be organised it always happened - can't find the hotel address after a long overnight flight or can't find the confirmation email in my carefully organised email folder or our daughter has no idea where we are..... So (and this is the end of that long story) we were sitting in a bar in Granada, Spain and said " we can build something ONLY for us that solves all our problems".  So we did - only for us. .. And if course one thing led to another and now we have published it on the Google play store. We are very proud of our travel app. It needs no sign-up, does not share your data and had no AI suggesting stuff an experienced traveller doesn't need but it does everything a traveller needs. So now it's available and if you want to really give it a go try the pro version free. Use this code AIXA-T-1N-8. Oh yea just search AIXA Travel Wallet on the play store.

Added Tripit import

I've taken the plunge and added the ability to import old trips from Tripit. Today I added 29 of them. Worked out very easy to do and a good quality import.
