Parents Retirement ETF Split
My parents are retiring in a few years. Their appetite for risk is low, but are looking at a mix of etf’s that can achieve some growth during retirement and minimize loss in the event of a downturn.
They’ll be investing significantly for the next 5 years.
I was thinking of a mix of VOO, VXUS, SCHD, and BND.
But I’m researching splits and don’t know which direction to head in. Im not even sure if that set of ETF’s is the right way to go. Every time I come up with a split I feel there’s something wrong with it. Any guidance is appreciated 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Edit: apologies if this should have been in a mega thread or if I haven’t added a correct flair
