Parents Retirement ETF Split

My parents are retiring in a few years. Their appetite for risk is low, but are looking at a mix of etf’s that can achieve some growth during retirement and minimize loss in the event of a downturn.

They’ll be investing significantly for the next 5 years.

I was thinking of a mix of VOO, VXUS, SCHD, and BND.

But I’m researching splits and don’t know which direction to head in. Im not even sure if that set of ETF’s is the right way to go. Every time I come up with a split I feel there’s something wrong with it. Any guidance is appreciated 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Edit: apologies if this should have been in a mega thread or if I haven’t added a correct flair

Hello everyone. I’ll be moving to Riyadh with my senior cat, and while I hope he lives for much longer one must prepare for the inevitable.

In most of the world, you have the option to cremate your pet when they die and keep their ashes.

Does anyone know of a vet in Riyadh that offers this service? I’ve called 4 vets and they said they don’t. If anything happens I don’t want to have my old boy buried.

The Aramco vet in Dhahran cremates, but you have to be an Aramco employee… and it’s all the way in Dahran.

Any info help! Thanks in advance
