Hi! I’m currently working on a Captain that I plan to play using the Red (Support) and Yellow (Tank) trait lines. I’m unsure whether or not I should use the "Compassion" virtue. I’ve heard that heavy armor gets you almost to the cap for physical damage reduction. I don’t know if that’s true, but I can see it for myself: I’m currently level 26, and when I craft new gear, I’m already reaching 57% physical damage reduction (the limit is 60%). Maybe someone here can explain the system to me or offer a few tips.
Hi! I’m currently leveling a Captain and wanted to know which Virtues are best for this class. I see the character filling a support role, so he doesn't need to deal top-tier damage (DPS) to be useful. I’m asking because I want to prepare early and start leveling the Virtues I’ll need for the endgame—specifically for Tier 3 and Tier 4 raids. I’m a complete novice with this class, and other websites or YouTube videos haven't really helped me much. Maybe a Captain pro or someone with deep knowledge of the class can help me out. Thanks a lot!
Hi, I started the WoW TBC anniversary yesterday as an Undead Priest (currently level 12). I’m generally new to WoW and have never played it before. A good friend even gave me 600 gold—I don’t know if that’s a lot or not, but so far I’ve spent it at the Auction House buying gear with the Name Owl in it it boost (Intellect/Spirit) and wands. I’m also using the "RestedXP" addon as a sort of guide, though I still read all the quest text to understand the story; I’m really enjoying it so far. I read in chat that crafting professions are very worthwhile for Priests because you can make sets that are more useful at higher levels than "Owl" gear—is that true? Do you have any general advice on what I should look out for or do to succeed on my journey? My main goal is to do raids and PvP and explore everything Azeroth has to offer. I’m not new to the MMORPG genre—I have 16k hours in ESO and around 5k in SWTOR—so I’m comfortable with skill rotations and basic MMORPG mechanics.
