Smartphone-addictions in seniors
With Singapore and global news discussing social media bans on teenagers, few are discussed about senior citizens.
I like to ask fellow Redditors here if you have senior members of your family addicted to smartphone, spending most of the day watching Tiktok, YouTube, etc?
Essentially spending way more hours than what is healthy screentime.
In addition, they often also not using headphone and loudcast their video anytime, and anywhere.
What did you do about your seniors' smartphone addiction?
Job eats your life, breaks your body, destroys your relationships and make you feel guilty for needing rest
Why are toxic work environments so prevalent in Singapore, both private and public sector?
Just want to hear what Singaporeans think of their work. Is it the work culture, lack of leadership, lack of EQ? Or the colleagues and bosses?
Edit: Yes, I know it happens outside of Singapore too. In some places this is the exception. But I like to know why this seems to be the rule in Singapore, even within public sector, as common & everywhere as trees in Singapore, and tolerated? No investigation?
