Smash Legends - 2 (Weekly Update-3)

Here's your boy, back again!

Soo, i made my first stage. And refined Movement a bit. Fixed a lot of underlying bugs.

I need SUGGESTIONS!!

  1. Currently what's different in my game is a dash n dodge feature, and different aerial ultimate, with interactive background. So would you guys want more attack options?

Like how about dash attacks? Where tapping basic attack or skill right after a dash can launch a different attack focused on pushback and not damage? Or maybe it can only be triggered by Dodge?

  1. What do you guys think about lightning striking a random spot in the arena? Or making the fence electrocuted if you manage to damage the generator next to the exit door?

  2. How about every character gets a slam attack, once they reach high enough?

Any other suggestions for making current gameplay work, balancing suggestions, and creative ideas are welcome as well!

Also my college has opened up, so i might not be able to push huge updates like this one. But id still be posting weekly to keep me from procrastinating.

Smash Legends - 2 (Weekly Update-2)

Hey everyone!

I'm back again (as promised)

Tbh I couldn't add anything huge like last time. I tried really hard to make the first stage, but couldn't get past all the bug fixes and trying to improve the feel of the game.

What do you guys think? Are the attacks more satisfying now?

I added a local multiplayer tho. While PC players had a straightforward solution to just share the keyboard with their friends. I had to get creative with mobile players. In the end, I figured a split screen would work best.

Lmk if you have a better solution!

So apart from further polishing the characters next week. I really hope to have my first stage set.

And u/Cornpoppadopapolis is already working hard to replace ai art with his own work. So hopefully no more ai art in the lobby next time we meet!

Any suggestions or criticism are welcome :)

Smash legends 2: Weekly update- 1

Hey everyone!

I'm back, as promised. So this is how the game currently looks.

Original lobby art is by a friend, animated by Gemini. And yess the images are ai generated. Put my prompting degree to work!

AI is used but it isn't slop. I used ai as a tool.

If you wanna suggest features or have awesome ideas. Now's a good time to share!

Also I'm working in the lore, so do lmk if you are interested in it.

Smash Legends 2

Since my favourite game is pretty much dead. I'm building a version myself.

GNOME Shell Theme Customization: Quick Settings/Aggregate Menu active state gradient won't change no matter what I edit?

Hey everyone,

I'm losing my mind trying to customize a custom GNOME Shell theme (gnome-shell.css). I am trying to change the active/checked toggle button colors in the Quick Settings / Aggregate menu to a horizontal gradient (dark on the left to light on the right).

The problem is, absolutely nothing changes when I edit the stylesheet.

[Edit: I figured it out. Open bar was preventing changes to be displayed. So it turned out to be an extension conflict]
