How much should guitar lessons cost?

For context, I found a place with guitar lessons that cost P10,800 for 12 sessions and one hour per session. Price is crazy high, to be honest.

What should I look for? Considering price range and expertise, as well as my current stat as a beginner.

I've been playing for 2 weeks.

Any advice?

Noticing the little things as I practice and grow

Just started out with an electric guitar, been playing for a week now. Hoping to get on stage when I finally meet people willing to jam with me.

I know, its a big dream. But, I'm starting to see little improvements even with just one hour of practice.

I named it too! Love the amp I bought with it.

One day, I'll hit a riff! I know I can.

:D

For how long should I keep my "different faith" hidden?

For context, I am a born-again Christian. At least, that's what I'm supposed to be. As I grew older, I started to have this growing doubt about God's existence.

And whenever I questioned my family or even suggested having no denomination, they said that it was impossible. Additionally, they suggested I should go to church more. Considering how I haven't gone for a month.

I feel great, honestly.

And they suggested I should go again. And by suggestion.. its not really an option. Especially after I had suggested different faiths. They said I was straying the path, or something. I don't really want to believe in God anymore, since his existence contradicts the existence of free will, suffering, but I won't get too into that.

I can't really talk to them about diverse religion, they immediately get the suspicion that I'm straying away or something. And while they are right.. conversations about different faiths feel pretty circled back to their own. Can't really blame them.

Feels pretty depressing, honestly. I have to lie to them and everyone around me. Oh, and I'm a humanist.

A secular humanist, someone who believes that a human is in charge of their own life. And should be kind to others in this one life they have. That's it.

Should I keep this going until I move out?

It's starting to affect my mental health too, if I'm being honest. I feel so alien from the rest of them, and I'm scared that when they find out, eventually.. they won't be so accepting and will absolutely try to take me back in.

Asking for guitar-hunting advice from the Philippines

Hello. I'm currently looking for electric guitar sets on Shoppee, and I was wondering if there were any shops you guys would recommend? I'm looking for something with an amp, something good for beginners like Kawes. But I've been seeing a few bad reviews about it being too cheap on the materials used to make the instruments.

I know, I'm on a budget. I can't be too picky. Maybe something under 10,000 PHP?

I'm planning on buying the electric somewhere near the ber-month sales. Or "crazy sales" as a local would call it.

Any advice, and anything to look out for?

That's all, thank you!

The fandom has done it again.

I genuinely feel so upset. These two were my favorite characters, and the fact that people sexualize them simply for being adults makes my blood boil.

I even made an OC based on the Playwright.

But nooooo, some people just HAD to be weird about them.

I hate this fandom.

What did Keath do to you guys?

Our job as a fandom is simple.

SUPPORT THEIR WORK.

Edit:

Hi, OP here!

After reading some of the comments, I do agree that we can't control how people act around our work. And we are on the internet, so..

So, yeah. Keath probably needs another break.

Short edit, just wanted to add my small agreement there.
