Made up a tool I figured might be useful to people here

Found there were not many vertical text options for keychains, or much else, out there. Turns out that's because it's a hassle to get working lol, so here ya go.

The vertical print orientation along with multi object print is ideal for getting the best color distribution using multi-color and gradiant filament.

Triangular or rectangular prism options. Each face of the prism (2 or 3) is individually addressable, each keychain can be unique even on a 25 keychain print. There are global overrides if you want uniform or partially uniform copies.

Emboss, Flush or Engraved text. Automatic multi-column word wrap. 8k+ standard fonts + A custom pixel script.

Stylized to look like the drink cooler at every get-together in years gone by, add a little style and functionality to your drink!

 

Can chamber and ice chamber can be sized to your prefference!

11 Can Size presets available in drop-down menu, from slim can to tall boys!

Color your Koozie in the Parametric Model Maker or your slicer.

 

Blank Nameplate optional, add your text in slicer! Also available in a squared off nameplate, ideal for attaching your custom emblem or other STL to after download!

Upload an image and generate a 3D model from it!

 

I have seen many people looking for a way to simply turn an image, a logo or such, into a 3D model. This generator does just that. 

 

Due to limitations in SCAD and the Parametric Model Maker, the generator is limited to 8 colors. The way SCAD reads an image does not result in proper coloring, you get a model which is divided by color along a gradient. This model can then be properly colored in slicer. Limitations in SCAD, the image can not be properly centered in the Parametric Model Maker UI, there are inputs to manually adjust positioning. Toggling the show toggles will make one entire color not render, the background color can be removed from the model for example.

 

There is also the ability to upload an STL directly. The STL model can be positioned such that the 3Dized image will print on its surface. Only flat surfaces tested.

Last game of the night last night my Firestar throw was accidentally intercepted by one of my teammates. They then went running through some grunts, it was great!

It's kinda cool how after so many years of playing I can still find things I didn't know about, I had no idea Firestar sticks to friendlies
