millenium mps-1000 hihat fix
I’ve had this kit for about 4 or 5 years and it’s really good. The only drawback initially was the hi-hat, it wasn’t reliable and often the pedal sound wouldn’t work or it had a very low volume. I hadn’t had this problem in a couple of years though.
I think I just found a way to fix it by accident: while i was playing i noticed that the rubber on the underside of the cymbal wasn’t properly inserted in the plastic so i pushed it back in and the hi-hat problem reappeared. So then I used like a credit card to pull it out again (only on the part on the underside where there’s a raised line on the top that signals where to hit it) and after a couple of hits it went back to normal and worked perfectly!
If you have this problem try this and let me know if it works or if this was just a coincidence!
