Rattlesnake Creek, Montana

OM-3 with a M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-45mm F4.0 PRO. Handheld silky water. One of the main reasons I got the OM-3 was to shoot the many waterfalls and white water located in Montana and the NW USA.

Shot this in the cloudy evening light to test a little low light action. Having a 600mm reach in such a low weight setup is gonna spoil me. I have been shooting with a Canon R7/R5 and the RF 200-800mm so long this rig feels like a toy.

I bought an OM-3 recently to pair with my Canon wildlife kits. I have been wanting a lighter setup for landscapes to carry along with them ready to go. I bought three lenses for the OM-3, the M.Zuiko ED 12-45mm f/4 PRO, M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4 PRO and the M.Zuiko Digital ED 75-300mm f/4.8-6.7 II. Still learning the ins and outs, but having a light setup with ND/GND internal camera filters is a game changer.

I bought a Canon R50 that I was going to use for this purpose, but it really fell short. Nice camera, just not enough bells and whistles. It's great for video though.

I mostly shoot wildlife with a Canon R5 or R7 with a RF 200-800mm, RF 70-200mm f/4, RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 and two extenders, 1.4x, 2x. So basically I can trim off the RF 70-200mm f/4, RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 and the filter kits, and just use the OM Systems stuff, less weight, mo betta setup.
