For those who don’t know, it’s an A03 fanfic that looks to be almost completed. Canon similar in a lot of ways but differs in others and it’s a really immersive world. Would you recommend, yea or nay and why?

I was tired when I did this, because I normally promote it to anyone who will listen I wrote it. So today is the day that free agents hit the market. Realistically - who are the ones we can and should be targeting?

Given the Leafs won the lottery in a huge shock (sarcasm), and will assumably be drafting Gavin McKenna, rabid and obsessive anti-American sentiment in Canada, and the refusal of either Matthews or the Leafs to confirm his continued future with the team, I believe all signs are pointing towards Matthews wearing different colors next season.

This is purely academic, as I am ignoring whether it is likely to actually happen. But let's say the Islanders looked into Auston Matthews. What would we realistically have to give up to make it happen?
