Stopping starting or any advice please?

I have been on mounjaro almost 9 months for weight loss. I have lost almost 4 stone in that time. Fast at first but then steadily and healthily. I have changed my lifestyle, I go to the gym, and feel great. I would say i have another stone to lose however I have really struggled the last 6 week or so to lose even a pound. I very slowly upped my doses as I was a super responder to 2.5. Lost 2 stone on that. 5 seemed to do me well for 2 months before going up to 7.5 which is what I am currently on. I seem to have stopped losing weight on the 7.5… it doesn’t feel as effective as the last 2 doses. Anyway… I can’t really afford to go up anymore as it’s £288 per months at 10mg. So I’m thinking, do I have a break, see how I go? Try to see if I can manage to lose the last stone on my own? And if I struggle or start to regain, start again in 3 months time on 2.5 and hope it’s somewhere near as effective as before to shift my last stone?? I’m in no hurry to lose the weight.

Any advice would be appreciated, especially if you have stopped or restarted. I’m

Interested to know how that went for people? I’m so lucky that I have responded to well, and if money was no object then I would continue happily on my journey, however it’s becoming a tad unaffordable for me and hard to justify considering how much I’ve lost already.

Kind of premonition (ish?)

Just wondered if this happens to other people . Often, maybe every couple of months or so, a random ( and I mean completely random unimportant person in my life) will pop into my head, often whilst driving or doing mundane jobs around the house. I usually won’t have any reason to think of this person… could be a customer I haven’t seen for a while, a person I know from going to watch my football team play, someone random from the neighbourhood or who works at a shop I visit… that kinda person. They will pop into my head… I think ‘ how odd, I’ve not seen them in ages’ I then literally see them a few hours later?? And truth be told, it’s kind of creepy!!

When I was younger, I used to get thoughts that would pop in my head. I woke one morning and rang my mum to tell her to be careful going down the stairs as I’d had a dream she fell down the stairs. ( it wasn’t a dream it just came into my head but I didn’t want to sound weird) .. anyway she did fall down the stairs that very day. Luckily she just put her back out for a bit nothing major.

These things happened a lot when I was younger and I tried to push the thoughts away. I get the urge to say weird things to people. A girl I work with came into my head when I was driving , and I actually saw something on her right upper thigh in my mind … and something in my head was telling me to ask her if she had a birthmark or tattoo there. I don’t know why this was in my head…. But it felt massively important to ask.I asked her a few days later and she just looked weirded out by me. She did indeed have a tattoo on her right upper thigh ( very high up and in the exact spot I asked) it was a tattoo she’d had done in memory of her grandad, like a feather or something like that.

Things like this happened to me all of the time and usually in flurry’s. Might not happen for ages then it happens a lot. I guess a lot could be coincidence, and I’m not really explaining it very well.

Objects come into my mind to ask people about. Sometimes I will ask and other times I won’t. 9/10 times it’s relevant to a person I feel the need to ask.

I’m trying to think of really relevant weird things that have happened but it’s hard because at the time they kind of freak me out and I try not to think about it again.

When I was mid teen ish, I was laid awake in bed and visualised someone picking my younger sister out of her bunk bed and throwing her on the floor . She was about 6, and in the bedroom next door to me, and I love her and always have…. It wasn’t a malicious thought , it just popped into my head… as I thought it, I heard a thud and she had fell out of bed??? Wtf. I felt guilty , thought it was my fault: ( didn’t tell my parents who were naked in the bedroom consoling her as they had rushed out of the bedroom cos the bang was so loud ( disturbing memory 😂)

I also woke one night whilst still living with my parents, different house… about 2am and had the urge to get out of bed. Only when I tried to walk I couldn’t . My legs gave way. So I crashed to the floor, I panicked, thought wtf why can’t I walk. So tried to pull myself up… same again my legs gave way I crashed to the floor. Once more… nope.. crash bang. I was crying cos I was scared. My mum had heard the commotion and came to see what’s happening. I explained… she told me to try standing again, this time I stood up perfectly fine. In the meantime my step dads looked out of the bedroom window and noticed some kids had smashed our car window and took the handbrake off and was pushing it up the road! He went out and shouted and got the car back. I can’t help think something was alerting me to the car being stolen and I’d inadvertently woke up my parents?

Anyway… please don’t roast me… it’s not something I tend to tell people but seemed this was the right topic to ask this question…. Does this happen to you???
