He fell for the first time

He has been diagnosed for a couple years now, symptoms for close to a decade. But while he has shuffled, he hadn't fallen. He did yesterday. His foot got caught when he was stepping up onto a porch and he tumbled.

He wasn't hurt, other than his pride. But my heart is broken.

Biz from Walmart

I received a message from Walmart that my subscription to Biz has been cancelled and is no longer available.

I can find it but only 3rd party, and quite expensive.

I hope they are just out of stock...

Insurance "recommending" a different medication

I have received email from my insurance company at least once a month since I started Ozempic last fall:

Based on prescriptions you've recently filled, we found a way you can lower your costs right now.

So I log into my account and this is what they recommend:

Try a different medication that treats the same condition:

Liraglutide 18mg/3mL (Generic of VICTOZA), Box of Pens(3)

I never even heard of this medication and they want to change from Ozempic to it? Right now it is a "recommendation" but what if they require it?

He finally decided to take C/L

My HWP was diagnosed over 2 years ago. He has had symptoms for years - in fact has had RBD almost 20 years.

He had been taking melatonin which helps with the RBD (not completely but it was better). A couple weeks ago he decided to try and add C/L (25-100 paracopa). It does help with his energy, and surprisingly to us he is sleeping solid through the night. It has to be better for him to be getting sleep to support brain health.

I think he was nervous about taking the plunge to take a prescription medication, but the results have been very good.
