Recent MPH grad struggling to break into the public health/healthcare job market any advice?

Hi everyone! I graduated in May with an MPH in Epidemiology (minor Biostatistics), and I also have a background in clinical dentistry.

I’ve been looking for jobs since around March and have been applying, networking on LinkedIn, reaching out to recruiters, and trying different approaches. I’m open to clinical research, epidemiology, healthcare/data, and other roles where I can use my background honestly, I’m just trying to find a place to get my foot in the door.

It’s been pretty frustrating, especially when you have bills to pay ;-;. I’ve had some advice from career services and have been trying to learn as I go, but I’m wondering if I’m missing something.

If anyone working in public health, clinical research, healthcare, or related fields has advice for someone trying to get started or would be willing to take a quick look at my resume I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks! 🙏

Planning my first solo trip to Vegas for my bday.

Hey everyone,

I’m graduating in a few days and turning 26 next month. Honestly, I've been feeling pretty low and anxious lately with the job market and dealing with some bad friend drama, so I decided to book my first ever solo trip to Vegas. I just want to treat myself, clear my head, and prove to myself that I can do this on my own.

I’ve never been to a casino and don't really care about gambling or crazy clubbing. I just want a low-budget, relaxing, and safe trip.

Since it's my first solo trip, safety is my absolute priority. I have a few questions:

Where to stay: I want a private room that is clean and safe. Any good area to stay alone, or are there other safe, budget hotels reccomendations?

Booking apps: What websites or apps actually give the best prices for flight + hotel packages? I'm looking at Priceline right now, is it good?

Things to do: I definitely want to check out the neon lights outside at night. But during the day, I just want to stroll around cool artsy neighborhoods, find good coffee, or go vintage/thrift shopping. Any recommendations for good places to walk around safely?

I'm thinking of doing 3 nights. Would love any tips on using public transit like the bus to get around safely on a budget. Thanks!
