Customer Support Is The Worst

Hey all,

I'm a relatively new tasker. I made an account about a month ago and immediately got a TOS violation and a restriction as soon as my background check went through and I made my account. It took me two weeks with customer support to figure out what I did wrong exactly. Apparently it had do with how my profile mentioned rates. It took two weeks for someone to tell me that. Once i figured it out I fixed it. Flash forward to today. I showed up to a client's building and couldn't get access. I cancelled the job after working with the client via the chat for over 30 min. I made a phone call, they gave me multiple key codes and nothing work. So, I cancelled due to unresponsive client as per the advice on some older threads here. took a pic of the front door, communicated it with the client and my cancellation fee went to pending. 20 min later it disappeared and no money was in my earnings section for it. I reached out to customer support and because of that original violation on my account I'm not entitled to a cancellation fee. I'm fuming over it.

Potential Arsonist in NW Portland

I'm in NW Portland and just had an incident where a homeless woman lit a fire in the overgrown green space right next to my apartment. Had we not caught it, it would've been a major incident and could've burned down my complex and the one right next to me. Luckily one of the neighbors in the building next to mine caught the lady and called 911, but after she was caught she started running toward my neighbor like she was going to attack her. She ran away after the neighbor started to scream and my partner walked out to see what was going on. Shortly after, the fire department showed up and put everything out before it grew too big. She had no tent, bags, or anything to indicate that she was trying to setup camp. It's like she was in there just to start a fire.

She was a middle aged white lady, with short hair, beanie, and a medium sized build. I know, it's a terrible description but maybe someone else has had something similar happen by the same person and has a better description.

Either way, if your in NW just keep your eyes peeled because the fire fighters told us that the cops basically ignored the call.
