Then at this point the individual physical dash cam housing are basically just dumb sensors maybe with a series of buttons for immediate control on a fly. Then instead of a volt power cable they get powered directly by the brain module which is then powered by the vehicles diagnostic port whereas is primarily used to charge the onboard battery of the device itself rather than giving it mission critical power. This prevents the vehicle from constantly disabled and power to that port and shutting down the system.
