Biggest piece of advice, plus a resource

Hi everyone!

I feel like this is the single most important advice I got when writing my essays, show don’t tell. It seems trivial, even obvious, but that central theme got me into Harvard and Stanford. How’s it going for folks? Anything y’all are struggling with in particular?

P.S.I’m going to be coaching some students through their college process this fall/just proofreading essays. No set price, I’ll work with you. Feel free to DM me if you’re interested!

He wasn’t really trying to free her at the end.

I keep seeing folks reference the fact that he eventually did the “right thing”. Bear did not. The only reason he died is because Freaky Nikki put him under the spell as he started trying to make himself throw up. I’m really hoping that the men watching this movie can put together that he never liked her. That’s why it was so easy for him to ignore her pleas as he was assaulting her.

As a man, there are too many other men I see in Bear. It honestly scares me. The pandemic of loneliness is real, but that’s nobody else’s fault. The sooner you start to humanize women, the sooner you’ll be able to find a meaningful relationship. Don’t be Bear, and don’t overlook someone that actually fw you (Sarah). Take women’s words at face value. If she doesn’t fuck with you, leave it tf alone. Pour into your own cup. The better the person you become the more likely you are to attract someone that wants to be with you for you.
