Recently qualified PT looking for experience

Hey, apologies if this isn't allowed, but I'm not looking for any paid clients or trying to promote a business (I haven't started one yet).

I've just finished my PT qualifications and I'm looking for a few people who'd be willing to let me gain some practical experience working with them. I'm offering 3 completely free sessions, mainly so I can build up some experience, get some feedback on how I can improve, and have something to add to my CV while I figure out how I want to go about setting up as a PT over the next few months.

I plan to specialise in working with clients with Neurodiversity, but I'm open to everyone generally.

There's absolutely no obligation to continue after the 3 sessions, and I'm not looking for payment or trying to turn this into clients.

I'm also more than happy to hear any advice from people who have been working as PTs for a while, particularly if you have any tips on getting started. Thanks!

Feedback For My Cosmic Fantasy Premise [Dark Fantasy]

I'm looking for feedback on the premise rather than the prose. I'm mainly interested in whether the characters, conflict and central mystery sound compelling enough to carry a novel.

The story follows two children raised by opposing religions in a world that has spent millions of years at war.

From birth, both are isolated and trained to become living weapons. One is raised by the followers of Order, who believe all life should ultimately be reunited into a single consciousness. The other is raised by the followers of Chaos, who believe the current universe must be destroyed so a new one can be born.

Each is taught that the other represents the greatest threat to existence.

When they finally meet, however, they don't find a monster. Instead, they find the first person who truly understands what it's like to be treated as a weapon rather than a human being. As their relationship deepens, they begin questioning everything they were raised to believe.

Their search for the truth uncovers forgotten secrets about the gods themselves discoveries that suggest neither religion truly understands the beings it worships.

The conflict isn't about choosing whether Chaos or Order is "right." Both sides genuinely believe they're saving the universe, and both have reasons that make sense from their own perspective. The story is ultimately about identity, belonging, and whether people can break free from the purpose they were created for.

The setting is a large, late medieval style planet, but contains magic that allows for certain tasks to become purely automated, which has limited innovation to a point, as a lot of stuff like carriages and plows can run automatically via Order's magic.

I'd love feedback from a reader's perspective:

  • Would this premise make you curious enough to read the first chapter?
  • Which part interests you the most?
  • Is there anything that sounds cliché or predictable?
  • Does the conflict feel morally balanced, or does one side immediately seem more sympathetic?

Feedback For My Cosmic Fantasy Premise [Dark Fantasy]

[Dark Fantasy] Would this cosmic fantasy premise make you want to read it?

I'm looking for feedback more from a reader perspective rather than writing critique. I'm not looking for grammar or prose advice yet — I'm more interested in whether the actual premise, themes, and worldbuilding are interesting enough that you would want to read a book based on them.

I'm especially interested in:

  • Does the central conflict sound compelling?
  • Does the concept make you curious to learn more?
  • Do both sides of the conflict feel interesting, or does one side seem obviously right/wrong?
  • Would this make you want to follow the characters living through this conflict?

The premise:

The story itself is centred around two "chosen ones", one from each faction. Both are raised from childhood to be weapons rather than people, isolated from everyone around them and treated as tools for their respective causes.

Despite being raised to destroy each other, they end up finding understanding and a sense of belonging in one another. The conflict is less about "Chaos vs Order" as abstract forces and more about how two people shaped by opposing ideologies try to break free from what they were created to be.

The lore is that there was just one mind (Order) at the start of everything, which split into a second mind as a result of the subconscious need to not be alone during the eternity before time began (Chaos).

In the time of the book, after millions of years, the story is about the war between the followers of the gods of Chaos and Order.

The followers of Chaos want to destroy the universe to rebirth a new one. The followers of Order want to reunite everything so that everyone is connected once again.

Whoever wins the war has the power to make what their religions aim for come true, so the universe will either be destroyed or reunited depending on who wins.

Memories or thoughts that Order had during the pre-universe exist as echoes which are discovered by the religion of Order at a point. They can't be fully understood by human minds, so they have enhanced humans who exist just to translate the thoughts, kind of like a middle ground between humans and gods.

They can understand the gods and also communicate with humans, but humans can't talk directly to the gods. The gods are therefore more Lovecraftian than biblical-style gods.

Order is also suggested to have forgotten what it was like before creation. Those memories are only contained in Chaos, so Order doesn't realise that achieving its goal would essentially return it to the loneliness that caused Chaos to exist in the first place.

Neither side is intended to be purely good or evil. The followers of both are shaped by the beliefs they were raised with, and even the main antagonists believe they are trying to save the universe from what they see as the true threat.

Thanks for any thoughts — especially whether this sounds like a story you would actually want to read.

Looking for casual 5/6 a side football

Looking to get back into casual 5/6-a-side football on 3G/astroturf.

I used to play regularly, mainly on smaller pitches with barriers, but I've found those games are a bit too high-tempo for me. Even after a few months of getting fitter, I struggle to keep up with the constant pace and the ball never really going out of play.

I'm looking for something more relaxed and social—ideally without barriers, where the game has a more natural flow and isn't ultra-competitive.

Does anyone know of any casual groups, leagues, or regular kickabouts that fit the bill?
