What are your thoughts on a case like this?

What are your thoughts on a case like this?

Do you think that using Artificial inteligence for generating concept art is wrong?

More context on my question.

Let's say i'm a writter that doesn't have the resources to pay for an artist but I have knowlegde of composition and im terrible at drawing, not and I want to make a painted art since I want to create a very simple visual package for my project (2-3 images in color), so I do some tracing and sketching and then I use artificial inteligence to enhace the drawing, add color, textures and all that. The end result looks generated but with a human touch, would you be against it? And what options would You give considering that the person is not in condition to pay for monetary personal problems?

Am I doing this right?

My first feature screenplay has led to a few encouraging conversations with literary managers and producers, and I'm trying to understand whether I'm approaching the industry in the right way.

Over the past nine months, I wrote and developed my first screenplay and created supporting materials to help communicate the project visually. One literary manager requested the material, and I have continued sending carefully targeted query emails to other managers and producers.

I also submitted the script to a major screenwriting competition and am currently waiting for the results.

My questions are:

  1. Is it normal to continue querying managers while waiting to hear back from contests and industry contacts?
  2. At what point does it make sense to pause and wait for responses instead of sending more queries?
  3. If a first screenplay begins generating some interest, is it generally better to keep focusing on that project before moving on to newer ones?

This is my first time navigating the industry, and I'm trying to be as strategic and professional as possible. Any advice from writers who have gone through a similar process would be greatly appreciated.

Armstrong-D.U.: My first screenplay became the only animated project selected to Kinolime's 2026 Script-to-Screen Feature Competition Top 26.

I wrote Armstrong-D.U., a 3D animated family feature, and kept develiping it over the past nine months and I'm looking to make the pitch document as best as posible since after getting into Kinolime contest and positive coverage some producers and agents are willing to read the script.

Logline:
When a disabled boy discovers a forgotten war robot sealed beneath his city's perfect safety dome, their unlikely friendship forces his family to choose between the safety the system promises and his freedom to play.

Positioning:
Armstrong-D.U. is a four-quadrant 3D animated family adventure with the emotional heart of The Iron Giant, set in a dystopian world brought to life through comedy and satire.

Project milestones so far:

  • Top 26 finalist in Kinolime’s 2026 Script-to-Screen Feature Competition (the only animated project selected).
  • Highly favorable professional screenplay coverage.
  • Completed feature screenplay.
  • 24-minute independently produced rough animatic.
  • Currently being shared with literary managers and producers.

I’m a Chilean creator developing this project independently with very limited resources, using concept art and animatics to visualize the world and characters and community feedback to polish the final draft so far.

You can also find more information by searching “Armstrong-D.U.” online.

I'm planning to send this curriculum with the pitch document to raise interest, tell me what do you think, any feedback, even negative is welcomed.

I share the pitch document here, it's just two pages, feel free to read it and give me your impressions:
