I failed my MOT a month ago and was asked to go for a long run.

So went out today for a spin and then headed to a different garage and the nice guy said he'll run test first.

And so he did and car failed emissions. He checked and advised that since the exhaust system is custom, they might have installed the Cats but there seems to be nothing inside.

He advised if I could get stock exhausts or ask someone to build cats for the system.

What do you think guys what should I do? I live in Huddersfield, UK, if someone local could help me out.

Whats the best way to lower down the emissions.

Some one told me to use a fuel cleaner and take a long route on motorway.

Its been sitting in garage for more than 4 months.
