Planning on camping on Jones island this week and someone who is coming with us is very worried about this. TIA

I've gotten to know a vendor at my grocery store and he's a pretty great guy. Very friendly and obviously trying hard to get back on his feet. He recently lost his disability which he got for depression issues and is in serious need of a job.

So far I've connected him to SPS where I work, suggested he keep an eye out for janitorial work there as it gets closer to the school year. And I encouraged him to go to WorkSource to get resume help. He does have a long work history of manual labor, construction, truck driving and the like. No felonies on his record. He also has an app he uses for day labor jobs.

Any other suggestions?

Just wondering. My son was trying to save some money but didn't realize this was a package deal.

I was told that Tami Brewer, who was investigated by the state for her part in the football scandal and fined as a result, has been exonerated by the district and given a new VP job at another school.

Very surprised by this and am wondering if anyone knows if this is accurate.
