What’s one rule your parents had that felt like overkill, but now you completely get it?

Back then , no tv school nights , home before the streetlight turn on , or no calling people’s home phones after 8pm felt like absolute Torture, you thought they where just ruining your life for fun .
Now that we’re older , you realize they where just trying to keep sanity in the house
