Thinking to join JPMIT/MMDU typa shits next year!

wsuupp! i'm a Class 12 student preparing for JEE 2027, and I'm exploring local colleges as backup options!!!! I'm particularly interested in JPMIT and MMDU typa shitss for B.Tech, preferably in CSE or related branches. I'd really appreciate honest feedback from current students, alumni, or anyone familiar with these colleges!

The girl I’ve had a crush on since 5th grade… and still haven’t talked to

Okay, this is probably the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever admitted anonymously.

Back in 5th grade, there was this girl in my school who I had a crush on. We were in the same school, but I was (and honestly still am) extremely introverted and shy, so I never actually talked to her.

Then we got separated and went our own ways. Somehow, that crush never really went away.

Fast forward to 11th grade — I suddenly saw her again at school after all those years. She was in the Bio section and I was in the Maths section. Different sections, different circles, so once again… I did absolutely nothing. 😭

And now I’m in 12th, she’s still in Bio and I’m still in Maths, and somehow I STILL haven’t talked to her even once.

Sometimes I catch her looking in my direction, but I genuinely have no idea if she remembers me from 5th grade or if I’m just imagining things because I already like her.

She seems like a genuinely nice person, and it’s honestly crazy that I’ve had a crush on the same girl for years without ever having a proper conversation with her.

At this point I don’t even know what’s more embarrassing — the fact that I’ve liked her for this long, or the fact that I’m now in 12th grade and still haven’t managed to say a simple “hi.”

Anyway, anonymous gossip: there’s this girl I’ve liked since 5th grade, we somehow ended up in the same school again, and I’m still too shy to do anything about it.

Should I finally talk to her before school ends, or am I already too far gone? 😭

11th wasted half of 12th wasted, is IIIT-B or IIIT-L possible from here?

I’m a Class 12 JEE aspirant and honestly, I need some advice from people who have already been through this.

My Class 11 was basically wasted. I spent a huge amount of time watching lectures but barely did any question practice or revision. I carried the same habit into Class 12, so now I have a pretty big backlog.

My current situation is roughly:

Physics:

  • Electrostatics / Electric Charges & Fields
  • Potential & Capacitance
  • Current Electricity is relatively better
  • A lot of 11th Physics is still weak/backlogged

Maths:

  • I have studied some chapters but my biggest problem is question solving.
  • I can understand a lecture and sometimes solve a question immediately after learning the concept, but if I see a similar/new question a few hours later, my brain goes blank.
  • Even NCERT-level new questions sometimes feel difficult because I haven't developed problem-solving ability through consistent practice.

Chemistry:

  • Physical Chemistry is incomplete (Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics etc.)
  • Organic Chemistry has significant backlog, especially from 11th.
  • Inorganic is also not properly covered.

The biggest problem isn't even the backlog anymore. It's that I have developed a cycle of watching lectures → feeling like I understood → not practicing enough → forgetting → restarting lectures.

I also have school/boards to manage alongside JEE.

I know I can't magically complete everything perfectly now. I'm trying to become realistic instead of making another 12-hour/day timetable that I follow for 2 days and then abandon.

So I really want advice from seniors who have been in a similar situation:

  1. If you were in my position around August of Class 12, what would you prioritize?
  2. Would you focus mainly on JEE Main + boards first, or still try to build toward Advanced?
  3. How would you divide time between backlog, current Class 12 syllabus, revision and PYQs?
  4. Should I stop trying to finish every lecture and instead use short theory + PYQs/questions wherever possible?
  5. Most importantly, is it still realistically possible to turn this around and get a decent JEE result, assuming I become consistent from now?

I'm not looking for motivation like "everything is possible bro." I want the brutally practical advice you would give your younger self.

If you were in a similar situation and managed to recover, please tell me what actually worked for you.

Thanks.

Can't focus on JEE lectures for more than 5 minutes. Need advice

I don't know what's happening but lately I can't watch JEE lectures properly. After 5 minutes my focus breaks and my mind starts wandering with random thoughts.

I genuinely want to study, but I feel like my brain is overloaded and I'm not able to stay present in the lecture. Even when I try forcing myself to focus, it gets worse.

Has anyone faced this during JEE preparation? How did you rebuild your focus and get back into long study sessions?

Any advice would be appreciated.

WHO RA Sir (Lakshya 2026) vs SKM Sir YouTube playlists for Class 12 Organic Chemistry – who should I follow?

Soo I’m currently in Class 12 preparing for JEE 2027 and I’m confused about which Organic Chemistry teacher to follow for OC.

I’m stuck between:

RA Sir (Lakshya 2026 batch lectures)

SKM Sir (YouTube playlists / recorded lectures)

I’ve seen mixed opinions online, so I wanted a more updated take from seniors who have actually followed them recently.

What I’m mainly looking for:

Strong conceptual clarity (especially GOC + Reaction Mechanism)

Good for JEE Advanced level questions

Structured sequence (not too confusing order)

Enough practice for problem solving

Some people say RA Sir goes very deep but expects self-effort, while others say SKM Sir explains mechanisms more smoothly and is easier to follow step-by-step.

If anyone has studied from either (or both), please share:

Which one is better for a Class 12 student starting OC from scratch?

Any pros/cons you personally felt?

Can I switch between them mid-way or is that a bad idea?

Would really appreciate honest advice 🙏
