Does the baby need to see out of their bedroom window?

Does the baby need to see out of their bedroom window?

I can’t decide which bedroom should be the baby’s room. I feel like they absolutely need to be able to see out of a window, but the back bedroom is such an awkward shape for putting in loads of bedroom furniture. The middle bedroom only has a skylight, it’s lovely and bright though as it’s a south-facing window. The room is a much better shape for furniture and decorating.

The back bedroom is currently my office, and I think it might drive me a bit crazy not being able to look out a window when I go back to work. But am I being selfish keeping that room for myself, and just trying to justify giving them a room without a window when I know how important a window is to me?

Baby obviously won’t be in their room for at least 6 months, but I want to decorate this weekend while I still can!

Dads - what gift did you or would you have loved to receive before becoming a parent?

My partner’s birthday is in a month and I’d love to get him something special just for himself. Budget is naturally on the lower side as we’re expecting a baby in October.

I’ll be planning something nice to do together, but I’m really stuck on what to get him that’s just for him to enjoy.

What’s the best gift you received or you wish you had received that would make a great present for a soon to be dad?
