I need a step by step. I watched the enel youtuber but he just glossed over it. I beat ch 13, but i pretty much did it through what i learned from his level 30-60 fast leveling guide and dying three times for the level to get lowered strat when needed.
After starting over but on switch instead of pc, having come up to beating dungeon 2 before, knowing what i know, i am having a blast. Beginning of the game is just rough for new players until after you beat dungeon 1 and get protospark. Rn, im in dungeon 3 septemburg and have gotten pretty decked out.
Since every screen is a challenge, it gets mentally taxing though, which is why i feel switch is better than pc for i can take breaks more and play in short bursts. On pc, it feels like i gotta commit for a long playthrough. On switch, after a hard segment, i can take a mental break and close the app.
What also made it easier for me mentally was making backup saves constantly through the copy feature. Has saved me bones i would have lost in early game.
This game is super unique. I tried to play it like a zelda or castlevania, but it really is its own thing. Can’t wait to beat it
Something im disappointed and turned off in so far besides the combat and difficulty is that i was expecting this game for years to have a story and character focus. Then when i finally try it, it really doesn’t. I barely know anything about mina, she barely talks, and the story is just kinda nonexistent so far. Im still in the queen’s crypt, but even the side characters i meet just arent that interesting or memorable compared to shovel knight treasure trove. I was just expecting a story and maybe lore heavy game. Does it get better in that department?
At the end, it should have included them having fun with the evil versions (actually, i wonder how thei humans’ reactions with evil jax would go after jax’s death?), gummigoo of course, normal orbsman would be funny, DISAPPEARING GUY (really missed cameo’ing him one last time for fanservice right there), and probably more I can’t think of rn. Esp a scene with pomni and gummigoo, maybe caine could just restore his memories. If they were going to do a happy ending without jax, should have went all out.
