Super nervous about very first date bc of an age gap

I mean I'd be nervous anyways lol. I've (23f) never been on a date before, but am going on my very first this weekend, just a walk and a bite to eat. But I think the thing that has me extra nervous is that the guy I'm going out with is ten years older than me and had some bad experience with women being mean to him and I feel like this extra pressure/nerves from that too. I also know he's an insecure guy, partly from the way he's been treated in the past. We've been texting for the past two weeks and he's been very kind, we have seen each other in person but only briefly. (My mom has known him for a couple years, they work at the same place and now I work there which is how we met).

The age gap kinda threw me a bit, he's definitely the upper limit of who I'd be willing to go out with. But it's still a bit intimidating for a first ever date. Anyways just looking for some general first date advice and also something to help me feel a bit less intimidated if anyone has any experience with a bigger age gap.

Edit: just to add and clear this up, we work at the same company in different departments. And the thing about past relationships was something my mom had told me, he hasn't been emotionally dumping on me or bashing any previous women.

Podcasts that discuss cult films?

So I used to listen to a podcast called Slums of Film History (which sadly just fell off the face of the earth a few years ago 💔) and each episode the hosts would discuss a taboo topic and go through films under that category. Usually low brow, cult, exploitation type stuff. Any recommendations like this would be awesome!
