I loved Night Film, The Whisperer by Donato Carrisi, and The Last Days of Jack Sparks.

I also finished I'm Traveling Alone by Samuel Bjørk (it was okay).

And I threw Jo Nesbø's book in the trash (literally). Is there anything similar to the books I loved? (No Nordic writers if possible).

I need some books with detectives/journalists chasing a killer or something like that i dont mind if its horror too. Pliz no Nordic writers.

Hi all, I don’t really know if I’m allowed to ask this question in this sub, but are disappearances in favelas really that common?

I read an article about people getting killed during police raids in favelas, and some people disappearing, including kids.

Do you have a personal story, know something about this, or are these stories blown out of proportion?

Όπου κι αν πάω, οι γυναίκες κάνουν πως λιποθυμάνε για να τις προσέξω, πετάνε στάμνες με νερό από τα μπαλκόνια και έρχονται και μου ζητάνε να βγάλω τα ρούχα μου για να μου τα πλύνουν, γιατί λερώθηκαν.Κάπου όπα λίγο, ρε κορίτσια στο 2026 είμαστε! Τι λιγούρια είστε;

Το καλό της υπόθεσης τουλάχιστον είναι ότι πάντα χρησιμοποιούν τον ίδιο ρυθμό που ρίχνουνε τις στάμνες οπότε συνηθίζεις να το αγνοείς τελείως.
