Dogs off leash on the beach

I love dogs. I love dogs on the beach.

Leash your damn dogs for the love of god if you don't have control of them. I'm out surfing low tide and some asshole just let her off leash dog piss on my towel and then try to wave it off.

Be a better human if you are going to be responsible for a pet.

The piping plovers and other nature matter. Follow the damn leash laws.

I have a wild idea Boston...

We can actually keep getting to know each other and having fun. The Scots were/are amazing- and we used to have way more life in this city.

I'm an old fart but all I'm saying is I had to walk both ways uphill in the snow to get to school and Boston used to be a vibe as the kids say. We used to have FUN.

There's no reason we can't keep the energy going this summer. If you see an old geezer with a Sox hat yelling at the wind at a World Cup viewing party- say hi. The world is better with you in it- and enjoying it.

Boston needs a sister city

I'm a lifelong Bostonian who got to hang out with some amazing Scots at 1pm with traffic cones on their head this weekend.

They have become a part of Boston so fast and the whole city has embraced it. My students walked into my classroom singing "No Scotland, No Party" at 8:00 this morning.

So.... we need a Scottish sister city. I don't know if Americans have what it takes to return the favor but I am aiming to make us try.

Which city should be our sister-from-the-same-colonial-mister?

Once in a lifetime - where to go?

I stalk this sub because I absolutely love seeing the pictures and reading about all these amazing locations. As a public school teacher, I'll pretty much never afford it, but I'm coming up on year 25 of teaching and I want to book 3-4 nights of somewhere absolutely amazing. I have a few years to save up so am open to any suggestions within reason (I will never be able to do $10k+ a night hahaha).

My wants: a spa, amazing food, room with a plunge pool or hot tub, ocean- open to weather options as I would be happy in a rainy place with a hot tub or a hot and sunny locale. I'm hoping for a more adult/all adult vibe but not looking to party.

If you could go back/go to any single hotel or location for 3-4 days, where would you go, and why? (Massive extra credit for any pictures)
