I recently applied for a promotion at my job. Yesterday, I overheard two of my male coworkers talking with one of them saying “women are too emotional” to me mangers. I’m one of two other girls at my store and I’m the only one who applied for the management spot so I’m pretty sure they were talking about me. Should I say something to our upper management? I feel like if I say something I’ll be seen as someone who can’t work well with others and it may cost me the promotion. At the same time, I feel like if I let it go, it tells them it’s okay to act that way.
