His hide is buried in the mossy mound on the far side from the rock… he’s come out each night just after sunset, is that normal? I have a heat pad on the back side (not bottom) to help maintain humidity and heat. I live in the Mojave desert and therefore have to keep my AC running, so I put the heating pad on there. I also have a thermometer probe coming to turn that off if it gets above a certain temp. Question: if the soil is damp, and temperature is good, but humidity is reading on the dial at the low end of their acceptable humidity (70%) do I have to worry? I have the top plastic wrapped as well.
