Vampire Books?
I really want to read a book with a vampire mc (or a vampire supporting character), but I’ve been having a really hard time finding one. I absolutely adore vampires but I’m not much of a romantic, so all the famous vampire books never really hit for me. If anyone has ideas, I’d love the help! Male or female mc doesn’t matter, setting also doesn’t matter, I really don’t like spice, I prefer romance as a side thing or completely absent, and I love really complicated plots. Preferably the vampire isn’t the antagonist, but I don’t mind moral ambiguity.
Also, as a side note, any supernatural detective and/or werewolf (without the werewolf as a villain) type stories with the same general perimeters? Good supernatural fiction is hard to find when everything is a steamy romance… No offense intended for everyone who likes spice, but it’s not my personal preference.
