Name a headcanon that gets treated like fact.

Ill go first: "Satisfaction with Subaru's life is what ends Return By Death."

This isnt actually established in Pride IF. Subaru is in fact satisfied with his life at the end, but the ending is actually a lot weirder than that. Regarding thr mechanism that ends RBD, it only ever says Subaru chose to separate himself from the spiral of death.

We need to talk about the LARPing epidemic.

Larpers are being used.

And no, this isn't another post complaining that larpers are annoying. My concern is what happens to them.

I've increasingly watched new or deliberately inexperienced members get handed shipping arguments, character interpretations, theories, and alleged author statements as though they're established facts. Those claims are then repeated by people who often haven't read or verified the material themselves until they get treated as law.

I don't even think everyone doing this is intentionally lying. That's part of the problem. Fandom claims get repeated often enough that they become community knowledge, and eventually nobody remembers where they came from.

That is... until someone inevitably checks the source, and sometimes that citation doesn't say what everyone has all this time saying it says.

At that point you'd hope people would appreciate the correction. Instead, I've watched contradictory evidence get immediately downvoted while people investigate the person posting it rather than the evidence itself.

It's tiring. Watching people set themselves up for disappointment because they've created an alternate version of the story based on expectations that were never guaranteed…

If you're new to the community or participating in the larp you don't need to out yourself, and you don't need to adopt anybody's interpretation just because they sound knowledgeable. Ask where claims come from. Read the surrounding context. Check translations when possible. And be especially skeptical when somebody tells you that a disputed interpretation is simply confirmed.

Reddit can be an excellent place to discuss ReZero. But Reddit isn't necessarily going to give you the answers you need.

Sometimes it will only give you the answers you want.

Could Subaru have made Rem use healing magic on his balls in Sloth IF to perpetually reset his cool down?

Asking for a friend.

Cant believe Ram is spreading agenda:

Sometimes it takes the biggest sister to be the biggest shipper.

The problem of Rem and Ram's older sister.

Because things are getting crazy in the novels right now I think it's probably time we start talking about Rim more.

So for the anime only's/light novel readers who got in after arc 4 there is a 3rd oni sister. She's not a twin of Rem and Ram despite looking very similar. As of right now she's novel/manga exclusive like Clind but that may change in the future so I think it's important to kinda run everyone up to speed based on what we currently know. It's kind of annoying trying to follow her lore because it's one of the most drastric changes between the web novel and light novel.

Basically she only exists as a whisper in the light novel, but she was an active part of arc 2 in the web novel. And strangely enough also appears in the manga... So sorry I'm gonna be using manga panels but these are the only images we really got of her.

Rim is just the older sister of Rem and Ram. She isn't their twin, she's a little over a year older but looks a lot like them outside of wearing her hair a little different. She got cut from the anime entirely as part of a series of production cuts from season 1 because they didn't expect to get another season and her arc is EXTREMELY long term. This was not the only cut that happened obviously. Clind also famously got the axe as well as stuff like Subaru and Emilia's date and Al's backstory in Japan and stuff. We don't know the exact reason, but do to the clusterfuck that is her addition across rezero's canon, I can't imagine it was a hard decision for White Fox to decide against adding her.

Rim was a failed attempt to reincarnate the Oni god. As a result her parents had her spend most of her time cleaning and playing with other children in the village. Because of this she had a stronger sense of independence from Ram and Rem. When they got older it wasn't hard for Rim to see that Rem felt inadequate in Ram's shadow. So Rim began to train her Rem in cooking, cleaning, and general house work.

After the Oni village was attacked, it was actually Rim who saved Ram after her horn was cut. Rem and her fought off the best they could and got into the woods where they were met by Roswaal. Rim basically begged Roswaal to save her and her sisters and offered her services in house work if he would take them in.

Now I know what you're thinking. This isn't backstory we got in the anime. Well it's actually not the backstory we got from Rem's perspective in the novels either. It's a bit of a spoiler and we'll get to it, but yeah some gluttony shit happens.

A lot of her early interactions with Subaru was him trying to convince her to help him to get along with Rem an Ram which I wish the series would've kept.

When Rem goes crazy and decided to go kill the mabeasts after Subaru got cursed, Ram asked her to go get Frederica or Roswaal and she took off from the mansion. That was the last time we saw her on page. Which is a real shame because I really enjoyed a lot of her and Subaru's interactions.

The common assumption of what happened to her is Gluttony. Though we don't know if she has her memories or not. As for the light novel I don't have access to it so I hope some people will post what's going on there. From what I've seen around though she wasn't part of arc 2 in the same way, but stuff like her room, an extra toothbrush, and nightgown lead Subaru to believe there's someone else. And when he asks Rem and Ram about it they say assume it was just extra. It's most likely Lye that got her which is why he recognized Rem and chose to eat her name and memories.

In fact one of the earliest clues that Gluttony had eaten Rim's name was when Rem told Subaru her and Ram's backstory. With a noticeable lack of Rim. Very different from the more vague version of the story Rim had described to Subaru in the garden.

Unfortunately it takes a while for Subaru to become suspicious of where she went. He would ask questions in this time, but people treated him as crazy. He would for the most part assume that he was simply being rude for asking about her duties.

It wouldn't be til arc 3 that he fully put the pieces together after Rem was eaten by the white whale that he realized to full extent of what had likely happened.

There is also her apparent connection to Otto. In the arc 6 web novel there is a side story from shortly before they head out to the Sand dunes. Subaru and Otto were discussing Rem's condition, when Subaru finally opened up about something he had been sitting with a long time. He told Otto of the missing sister. And Otto's reaction is strange as fuck:

Past this point we start getting into major spoiler territory so I'll ahead and slow down here. What I will say is that the primary theory of what happened to her has a lot to do with Sloth IF. So if you haven't read Sloth I'd really recommend that and also look into Al's concern or Rem and Ram being alive in arc 3. Those seem to be good avenues for speculation.

Do y'all think the anime and light novel should've kept Rim as a more prominent figure?

Okay so can we finally talk about wtf was happening in that confession?

We're about a month out now and since the dust has settled I'd like to ask this simple question...

Why the fuck did the witch of envy just circle them for 6 minutes like, "Oh yeah take your time! I'm gonna kill you soon but this beautiful :)"

Heart condition at 26. It's coming for me eventually.

Between 17-23 I really was out there doing it all. Running 60 hours a week Bar Backing and enjoying my life. I could buy a pc, a decent car, rent was paid, I was physically fit, and most of all happy.

I remember working that night in the middle of shift and telling my manager something didn't feel right. She didn't understand what I was trying to say and wanted me to keep working. So I tried. I thought maybe I needed some fresh air to stop my heart from beating so hard. Step out back to find a kid no older than like 18 smoking behind the building. He honestly looked like he was more shocked to see me than I was to see him. I asked him to run and grab someone cause it wouldn't slow down.

Next thing I know I'm awake in a hospital. Doctors had no idea what was going on. I explained my heart was pounding out of my chest and my hands and feet were going numb at the time. But they never checked me for anything relating to my heart.

Come home a couple days later and I'm editing a video while talking to some friends about Counter Strike. We play a few games, and it's a bit of a struggle. More losses than wins. And I start to feel it again.

I didn't have time to call 911 so I tried to leave to the house where someone can see me. Never made it out the door.

By the time I came too I found out I'd gotten insanely lucky. My dad had come home not long after I went down and literally completed the call from my phone. He moved me to a bed where paramedics got me stable enough to wake up. From there they brought me into the emergency room. Ran an EKG on me and nothing outside of a slightly arrhythmic heart beat. Funnily enough I think the stress of hearing they didn't find anything was actually what lead to me having a second episode right there on the table whilst still hooked up.

Tachycardia is what they think it is. A bad case too. Had to come off all my medications. Not allowed to have caffeine. Vyvanse prescription got thrown out. And inevitably my performance at work began to decline.

Wasn't allowed to let my stress levels increase to high either, and even after coming off everything I was still having episodes at work. Eventually my job stopped scheduling me without ever claiming that I was fired.

It's been 3 years since then. I don't have episodes much anymore but they still happen from time to time. I struggle to stay employed and I've lost pretty much lost all motivation. I'm drowning in debt from medical expenses and taxes I haven't paid because I the only way I make money anymore is by running a small contracting business where I help renovate homes for people in my area at a rock bottom price because I take longer than everyone else.

I'm just tired. Worst part is I'm not even to get angry because of it.

Okay we get it guys... Let's be done with the "what character am I" posts.

It's a fun little trend but its clogging up the sub pretty badly.

Genuine question. Why did the role play guys get banned?

Sorry I mainly post theories and stuff on the main subs and never post here.

I dont rp myself, but Ive seen a lot of the character posts all over the subs lately and they were genuinely fun to engage with! Was there something wrong? Did one bad apple ruin the bunch or something?

Witch factor compatability.

I figured someone would've brought it up by now but I guess not.

The moment Typhon became compatible with the witch factor of pride, her eyes glowed the same as Emilia’s durring the kiss of death.

Not only that but both of their personalities changed in these scenes. Typhon went from a scared and slowly desensitizing child to a joyous executioner. Emilia went from a virtuous carring girl, to some possessive and distant entity.

I know this is obvious I'm more just surprised no one's brought it up yet since the episode aired.
